His journey spans 36 years with one of the nation’s largest airlines, 11 years enforcing federal security regulations, and an additional 12 years as an independent contractor conducting operational safety audits across five continents. A three-time retiree, Mal is not just an aviation enthusiast but a bold explorer. Departing his small-town origins in the vibrant 1960s, he boarded on a lifelong pursuit of discovery. From traversing North American landscapes to dipping himself in the rich cultures of Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America, Mal’s quest for the extraordinary is boundless.
